Lauren is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in the State of California and a Nationally Board Certified Diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She completed a four year Masters Degree at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco.

Lauren combines her skills of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and mind/body techniques with her genuine and compassionate approach to promote optimal health in her patients. Lauren has had advanced training and experience in the field of women’s health. She treats patients for fertility challenges, menstrual irregularities, hormonal imbalances throughout all phases of the life cycle and pregnancy. She also treats both men and women for stress and emotional imbalance, chronic headaches, digestive disorders and of course, chronic pain.

While in San Francisco, Lauren studied and interned with Dr. Lifang Liang, a highly regarded Oriental Medicine Doctor and fertility Specialist. She assisted Dr. Liang in her clinic and in editing her revised book, “Acupuncture and IVF”. After graduating, Lauren relocated to San Diego to work with one of the area’s leading fertility acupuncturists. She also accompanies many of her patients to fertility centers in the Los Angeles area to provide acupuncture treatment during their in-vitro fertilization procedures.
