Lauren Sara Civello, M.S., L.Ac (Licensed Acupuncturist) is a California and Nationally certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She completed her four year Masters program at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, CA.
Lauren combines her skills of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and mind/body techniques with her genuine and compassionate approach to promote optimal health in her patients. Lauren's specialty is women's health and she treats patients for infertility, menstrual irregularities, hormonal imbalances during all phases of the lifecycle and post-partum discomforts. She also treats both men and women for stress and emotional imbalance, migraines, allergies, chronic or acute pain and injury and many other internal imbalances.
While in San Francisco, Lauren studied and trained with Dr. Lifang Liang, a highly regarded Oriental Medical Doctor and Fertility Specialist. She assisted Dr. Liang in her Clinic and in editing her revised book, "Acupuncture and IVF".
Lauren spent the last two years working with one of San Diego's leading Acupuncturists in the field of women's health. She has also accompanied and treated many of her patients during their assisted reproductive procedures (IVF) at San Diego fertility centers.
