Chinese Herbal Medicine
When indicated, Chinese herbs are prescribed. Traditional Chinese herbology is a complex science and intricate art form. Each formula is tailored specifically for the patient's individual constitution and condition. Unlike most western medications, Chinese herbal medicine has a remarkably low risk of adverse side effects. Chinese and western medicine are not substitutes for one another, rather they are complementary.

Payment at the time of service is required. Cash, check, Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted.

Insurance Questions
Many health insurance companies cover acupuncture treatment. You should contact your health insurance company to verify acupuncture coverage. We are not contracted directly with any insurance companies which make us out-of-network providers. In this case payment will be due at the time of your visit and we will provide you with an invoice which you will submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy
In order to maintain the integrity of our practice, Golden Valley Acupuncture Center asks that all cancellations be made within at least 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time. Failure to do so will result in your account being charged the full price of the visit. This allows us the opportunity to give make that time available for another patient. Thank you for your understanding.
