Having heard a convincing argument in favor of acupuncture many years ago, I decided in desperation to try it for a persistent insomnia that I had experienced for 17 years! About 5 years ago, I succumbed to over-the-counter sleeping aides figuring the benefits of sleep outweighed the chemicals I was putting into my body. Nothing seemed to work and I was starting to accept this as a way of life. I met Lauren at a health fair and decided to give acupuncture a try. I've now been off all drugs for almost 3 months!
